The framework called for a paradigm shift whereby Africa must do things very differently to take advantage of the current momentum towards 2063. “Agenda 2063” is an approach to how the continent should effectively learn from the lessons of the past, build on the progress now underway and strategically exploit all possible opportunities available in the immediate and medium term, so as to ensure positive socioeconomic transformation within the next 50 years. As ACBF celebrated the Africa Day (25 May 2015) and as part of communication strategy to widely disseminate this critical strategic framework for Africa, Dr Roger Atindehou made a presentation on the theme: “Agenda 2063 and 10-year strategic plan: the meaning for Africa and Africans”.
