The event facilitated the sharing of experiences, views, and best practices on public governance arrangements aimed at achieving inclusive and sustainable development. Thematic discussions covered infrastructure and public procurement, the role of schools of government in bolstering administrative capacity, green governance, and emerging public governance trends in Africa and MENA. The forum also celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the Centre, reflecting on its achievements, strategic priorities, and lessons learned since its activities expanded in December 2022. Organized by the OECD and the SNA in partnership with Italy’s Department for Public Administration and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the forum assembled 36 participants from 12 countries and 6 regional/international organizations. This event built on the outcomes of the Italy-Africa Summit (28-29 January 2024) and aligned with Italy’s “Mattei Plan” and its G7 Presidency, as well as with the Africa-OECD Partnership and the OECD Public Governance Committee’s expertise. | Filesize | 1299035 MB | File Format | PDF | [ View / download original document ] |
