These challenges will add to the number of companies that cannot pay their debts, or attract the financing necessary to maintain operations. One way of dealing with such conditions is through use of an insolvency resolution regime: formalized procedures that allow a debtor to adjust the ownership and creditor claims against it. Most countries, including Zimbabwe, have such regimes.
