African countries such as Mozambique, Nigeria, Somalia, South Africa, Uganda, and Zimbabwe have experienced conflicts with various degrees of intensity. These conflicts are inimical to development and achievement of desired development results. The Management for Development Framework requires the use of relevant information for achieving development results. The objective of the case study is to show that peace-building through conflict transformation improves the skills and capacities of traditional authorities working in customary justice systems.
