AbstractThe African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) Annual Report 2024 highlights a year of significant progress in strengthening Africa’s human and institutional capacity. Despite challenges, ACBF remained committed to supporting policy development, fostering inclusive growth, and empowering youth and women leaders across the continent. Key achievements include the launch of UBORA Academy and its inaugural LEAPS program, which cultivates transformative public sector leadership, and the release of the first Africa Export Competitiveness Report, providing data-driven insights to enhance trade and economic integration. Guided by the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and the Sustainable Development Goals, ACBF’s initiatives in knowledge generation, capacity development, and strategic advisory services have contributed to resilient, self-reliant, and innovative institutions. The report underscores the Foundation’s dedication to building Africa’s potential and advancing sustainable development through strategic partnerships and collaborative action.
